So I took a break this afternoon to look through the archives of my and K’s blogs. A year ago this month our guild had cleared Naxxramas and was farming it regularly (Ulduar wasn’t live yet), leveling alts, and trying to build up the courage to do Malygos. Two years ago we were just stepping into Karazhan, and I had just recently assumed the position of GM and de facto raid leader of The Left Claw. Three years ago we were not blogging yet but we were playing WoW, both in our low 30′s. And all that time we’ve been in the same guild on the same server/faction, with the same mains. Longevity FTW.
What were you doing 1, 2, 3+ years ago?

I, too, have been playing with the same guild for many years. I created the Mighty Froggers of Alleria with a bunch of RL friends a little over four years ago. The rest ressembles your story: kara a couple of years ago, Naxx & Malygos last year and this year ICC.
I did however switch mains everyone once in a while: druide to hunter to pally to shammy and back to druid.
It keeps the game interesting to me.
I’ve been with all of two guilds in the history of all my alts…and I always end up back with the first one…5 years of Polaris…
