So the other day Keredria needed to attend some resto druid convention in Moonglade, so I volunteered to babysit her Teldrassil Sproutling. Bebeh tree got a bit bored just hanging around Darnassus so we decided to take a little trip so that she could see some of the places that Keredria had gone in her travels. The sapling had already seen quite a bit of Northrend, so I decided to show her some of the places Keredria had been in Azeroth when she was younger. Seeing as today is Keredria’s 3rd World of Warcraft birthday, it seemed appropriate to post some screenshots from that trip.
First I showed her Shadowglen where Keredria first began her journey through Azeroth and beyond. It was through this arch that she first passed from safety to the less hospitable lands of Teldrassil — probably to pick flowers.
We then went down to the coast of Feralas where Keredria did a great deal of fishing from pools like this one. At one point we had to do an intervention to get K to stop fishing and start leveling again. She still fishes, but the problem seems to be under control. But Keredria had other vices…
Here we are at the Ironforge auction house where Keredria worked the market to become very very rich, first by selling fish and herbs, and later glyphs. Sometimes I think she spent more time here than she did anywhere else except maybe fishing.
Here we are in the Badlands — a relatively unremarkable zone, but this spot is significant because if my memory is correct, this is the first place I met Keredria in person. We ran into each other while questing.
Keredria and I had both run a couple of other instances, but not successfully and not together. Scarlet Monastery was the first instance we ran and completed together as tank and healer.
The sproutling was very excited to see the places where K had healed, so I took her to see a little of Karazhan, our first raid instance.
The sproutling was very excited to Karazhan so we went up to see the Banquet Hall where we “dined” many times with Moroes and his guests. The waiters and valets were a little rude since we did not have reservations, but I managed to convince them that we were to be admitted. I pointed out the fish platter on the large table where Keredria would stand while throwing out her heals and poison dispels.
After such a long trip the sproutling was very dirty so I gave her a bath in the pool in the Temple of the Moon in Darnassus. I’m not sure Tyrande Whisperwind or the Priestesses of Elune would have appreciated us using the pool, but they didn’t seem to notice.
It was quite a day. Bebeh sproutling was very tired and fell right asleep after I dried her off after her bath. I think she very much enjoyed seeing and learning a bit about Keredria’s travels. And she seemed very proud.
Happy birthday K.

Aww… way cute. And you bathed her too! Bonus!
Is a big fat happy birthdays ta Keredria. K’s been a damn good friend in Azeroth, in the blogosphere, and in that RL game we all play sometimes, and I’s very glad fer ta have known her.
And yeah, the sproutling is dang cute.
Aww Happy Bday K.
